ARC HS-60 HIGH-STRENGTH RAPID MORTAR

SURFACE PREPARATION

Suitable for use in temperatures between 5° and 30°C. Ensure area is clean and free of grease, dust & other contaminants. For critical repairs, the substrate should be mechanically prepared. As the product cannot be featheredged it is best to cut out area to be repaired leaving a square edge and a minimum of 10mm depth. The area should then be thoroughly dampened but free from standing water.

APPLICATION METHOD

Add approx. 12% water – 0.6L per 5kg and mix thoroughly.
Only mix the amount which can be used within 10-15 min.
Do not add extra water once the product has begun to stiffen. Apply by gloved hand or trowel and fully compact in layers of up to 75mm. For deeper applications or repairs over larger areas, pre-mix powder with 3-6mm clean stone chippings at a rate of not more than 1:1. Depending on the quality of the chippings, strengths may be reduced.
