DESCRIPTION
Arc Dust Proofer is a silicate-based surface hardening liquid for concrete floors, floor screeds and renders.
Arc Dust Proofer reacts chemically with cement-based substrates to form a microcrystalline seal in the surface pores of the concrete or screed. This produces a hard dust-free finish, which becomes a permanent integral part of the surface, unlike resin based sealers, which slowly degrade on concrete surfaces. It can be used on both new and old concrete floors, floor screeds, etc.

PREPARATION
The substrate must be free of all oil, dust, existing sealers or other contaminants.
All loose material should be removed. Concrete should be at least 21 days old before applying Arc Dust Proofer.
Ensure the substrate is free from resin-based curing compounds or other materials, which may affect the penetration of water based products.
APPLICATION
Arc Dust Proofer is ready to use straight from the container and can either be sprinkled over the surface with the aid of a plastic watering can, applied over the substrate with a soft broom or squeegee, or applied by a sprayer. When applying by spray ensure the use of protective eye & face equipment. Do not overspray onto adjoining finishes and materials. Spread liquid back and forth over the surface to ensure maximum and even penetration. Do not allow puddles to form on flat surfaces. Normally two coats are sufficient, but in some cases a third coat is beneficial. After the final treatment, the floor should be thoroughly washed with clean water within two hours. Do not allow floor to dry before washing.
