The Bitumen Roofing Range from Arc has all the products you need when installing, maintaining or repairing your roof. The range consists of primer, paints (black and aluminium), adhesives and waterproofing solutions (overall or crack sealing).
ARC BLACK BITUMEN PAINT
A black bitumen paint for use as a protective coating for metal work, pipes, tanks, etc.
Bitumen Paint can be used for coating a wide variety of substrates including metal, concrete, stone and asbestos. The dry coating is waterproof and weatherproof.
ARC BITUMEN PRIMER
Arc Bitumen Primer is a thin, fast drying, black bitumen priming solution. It is designed to penetrate and seal porous substrates prior to application of waterproof protection systems.
Primer can be applied to a wide variety of substrates including metal, concrete, asbestos cement etc. It can be applied to damp but not wet surfaces. Due to the nature of the solvent used, it will dry rapidly after application.
ARC ALUMINIUM REFLECTIVE PAINT
A solvent based aluminium paint manufactured using a specially selected grade of bitumen and high-quality aluminium flake. It provides a solar reflective, bright silver finish on bituminous roof systems.
Aluminium Reflective Paint is used to provide protection to roofs against sun and weather, particularly on exposed bituminous surfaces.
ARC TROWEL MASTIC
An easy to apply bituminous mastic, formulated using high quality raw materials.
Can be used for filling cracks, holes, gaps etc., on roofing and most construction materials.
ARC ROOFING FELT ADHESIVE
A solvent carried high viscosity bituminous adhesive with strong initial “grab” properties.
A cold applied roofing adhesive formulated for convenience and safety, based upon the same oxidised bitumen as found in roofing felts, thereby ensuring affinity and a strong, final bond. It is used for bonding roofing felt to metal, timber or concrete, sealing roofing felt laps and bonding chippings to flat roofs.
ARC ALL WEATHER ROOFING COMPOUND
Arc All Weather Roofing Compound is an easily applied black, fibre filled bitumen solution which will resist “wash-off” from rainfall soon after application. The product does not contain asbestos.
Suitable for weatherproofing most types of roofs including asphalt, asbestos cement, corrugated iron etc. It can be used either on its own or in conjunction with a reinforcing membrane such as glass fibre.
