DESCRIPTION

Arc MS-11 is an all-round durable, flexible adhesive and sealant based on MS Polymer technology providing excellent adhesion to non-porous surfaces and is paintable with most paints.
Can be applied on damp surfaces. Tested and approved in accordance with EC Regulation No 1935/ 2004 for materials intended to come into contact with food. This product is odourless, neutral and free of isocyanates. Conforms to ISO 11.600 25 HM.

USES

Suitable for sealing joints around sanitary fixtures, weatherproofing joints around windows and doors, glazing systems, joints and assemblies in coach body work. Uses also including gluing panels, skirting boards, windows, thresholds, mirrors and insulation materials. Will seal and bond glass, porcelain, coated metal, epoxy and polyester panels, polystyrene, UPVC, stainless steel, anodised aluminium and finished wood. MS-11 can also be used as universal filler for cracks and uneven surfaces. And can also be used safely in the foodstuff-related sector. For example the grouting of wall and floor areas in companies which are preparing and processing foodstuffs. The solid colours have excellent anti pick qualities and therefore make this product suitable for use in correctional institutions and areas where vandalism of the sealant may occur.

LIMITATIONS

Among others not recommended for application on PE, PP, Teflon and bituminous surfaces. Not suitable for use with aquaria or expansion joints. Not paintable with alkyd resin paint. On porous surfaces such as concrete a primer is recommended. Yellowing can occur in the dark. It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. Adhesion tests prior to application are recommended.

Which mould remover should I use? With chlorine or chlorine free?
Depending on the location and surface where mould is present you can choose the appropriate mould remover.

Chlorine free is neutral in odour so it’s best used in bedrooms and children’s room, on porous surfaces, wood, leather, textiles, wallpapers etc.

With chlorine it’s best used in sanitary areas, on hard, non-porous surfaces, such as ceramic, plastic, glass, tiles etc.

Backer Rod is a closed cell, waterproof and weatherproof polyurethane foam rod designed to control sealant depth. Available in sizes from 6mm to 50mm, it is inserted into a joint/expansion joint to control sealant depth to create a backstop to resist gasoline, oil and most other solvents. Ensure that surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry and grease free. Cut cartridge seal. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired bead thickness. Screw nozzle onto cartridge and place cartridge into caulking gun bottom end first.
For general sealing apply sealant in a continuous steady flow.
Push the sealant ahead of the nozzle to completely fill the joint.
Remove excess sealant immediately using a cloth dampened with mineral turpentine. Arc Perma Clear/White Silicone releases acetic acid during curing. Therefore, it must not be used on mirrors and sensitive metals such as copper, brass and lead. It’s not paintable. It should not be used for aquariums. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight must be avoided because of discoloring.
It should not be used on porous surfaces such as stone, concrete, marble or granite.

ARC HS-60 HIGH-STRENGTH RAPID MORTAR

Formulated to set hard after 30 minutes and reach 20N/mm² after 2 hours and 60N/mm² when fully cured.
Ideal for rapid high strength repairs to screeds, holes, gaps and cracks in concrete, stone, brick and most masonry surfaces.
Beds in machinery, posts and manhole covers.
Internal & external use.
Made in Ireland.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Suitable for use in temperatures between 5° and 30°C. Ensure area is clean and free of grease, dust & other contaminants. For critical repairs, the substrate should be mechanically prepared. As the product cannot be featheredged it is best to cut out area to be repaired leaving a square edge and a minimum of 10mm depth. The area should then be thoroughly dampened but free from standing water.

APPLICATION METHOD

Add approx. 12% water – 0.6L per 5kg and mix thoroughly.
Only mix the amount which can be used within 10-15 min.
Do not add extra water once the product has begun to stiffen. Apply by gloved hand or trowel and fully compact in layers of up to 75mm. For deeper applications or repairs over larger areas, pre-mix powder with 3-6mm clean stone chippings at a rate of not more than 1:1. Depending on the quality of the chippings, strengths may be reduced.

ARC PATH & PATIO SEALER

Arc Path & Patio Sealer is a tough acrylic sealer used to seal and protect absorbent concrete or natural stone surfaces. It produces a hard, clear seal with excellent weathering and water resistance and offers excellent protection from dirt, oil and staining, and helps to prevent moss and mould growth. Arc Path & Patio
Sealer can be used on most concrete and stone paving and is also ideal for use on concrete garage floors, hardstandings and yards.

PREPARATION

All surfaces must be dry, clean and free from dust, dirt or debris. All surfaces must be absorbent. When used externally do not apply if it is raining or if rain is forecast within 6-12 hours. If algae or green growth has been present, a pre-treatment with Arc Algae & Greenslime Remover is recommended after cleaning and before sealing. If oil staining is present, it should be removed with a suitable proprietary detergent. Ensure all cleaning products have been rinsed off and surface dried before application.
It is always recommended to carry out a trial on an inconspicuous area to check appearance, finish and suitability.

APPLICATION

Stir well before use. Do not dilute. Apply by brush, roller or low-pressure spray in an even coat across the entire surface. For best results, apply using a long pile roller in long even strokes. Protect surrounding areas from splashes or overspray. Apply in 2 coats allowing 2-4 hours between coats. A third coat may be applied if a semi-gloss finish is required.
Do not allow puddles to form, particularly on textured surfaces, and do not apply in thick layers. Drying time for the final coat will be 2-4 hours depending on conditions. Drying and re-coat times will take longer at lower temperatures and when humidity is high.
